As we scale, we’re looking for a US Director of Tech & Applications to lead our engineering team, drive technical strategy, and build high-performing mobile and web applications.

What You'll Do

As the US Director of Tech & Applications, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to deployment. You will define the technical roadmap, lead a team of engineers, and ensure that our web and mobile applications are built with performance, security, and scalability in mind.

You will drive the architecture, automation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployments and minimal downtime. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience.

Mentorship and leadership are key aspects of this role. You’ll work closely with developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation. Your expertise will help shape our DevOps strategy, implement best-in-class security practices, and continuously improve our development processes.

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a technical leader with at least five years of experience in software engineering management, full-stack development, or DevOps leadership. You should have expertise in React, React Native, Node.js, Python, or Java, along with deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, security best practices, and system performance optimization is essential. You should be comfortable leading a team, solving complex technical challenges, and implementing scalable solutions.

Bonus points if you have experience with Moodle LMS, Kubernetes, microservices, or serverless computing. A passion for mission-driven technology and creating impactful digital experiences is a plus.
